TRX Suspension Training

Exercising on the TRX employs gravity and movement to generate neuromuscular responses with movements that integrate strength, balance, endurance, coordination, flexibility, power, and core stability all at once. This maximizes the benefits for faster results. Hundreds of exercises make TRX a versatile and effective training solution regardless of the user’s age, gender, or fitness level. TRX Suspension Training is even being used by physical therapists to rehabilitate patients in hospital wellness centers, sports medicine clinics, and chiropractic offices.

Introducing Our Newest Trainer, Bethann!

Unique Physique for Life Private Personal Fitness Training Studio, is proud to introduce our newest trainer, Bethann Casciano!

Bethann is a Certified Nutrition and Wellness consultant who enjoys focusing on holistic nutrition and medicine. She is TRX certified and enjoys leading a number of group classes at UPL in addition to running private sessions.

Bethann first found herself drawn to fitness and nutrition when she met the woman who is now her mentor, Dawn Toth. “I used to never work out and eat really poorly, and Dawn did a bio-feedback test on me and showed me exactly how unhealthy I was, changed my diet and my life,” Bethann says. “I’ve learned so much from her and I want to share it with as many people as I can and help as many people as I can. I now love eating healthy and how it makes me feel and I love exercising and can’t imagine it not being part of my daily routine.”

A Guiltfree Fall Treat – Pumpkin Pie Blizzard 

My favorite fall treat is the Pumpkin Pie Blizzard from Dairy Queen, but it can be so unhealthy! Rather than skipping it altogether, I found a fun, protein-packed way to enjoy a new take on this delicious treat. Try it for yourself! Ingredients:
1/2 c plain fat free yogurt
1 very heaping tablespoon of pure pumpkin (canned is fine)
1 pkt truvia
A few dashes of cinnamon to your liking
1 whole graham cracker

And voila!

This is the closest thing I will get to a healthy Pumpkin Pie Blizzard 🙂!
