I hope 2013 is treating you well! Things are exciting at UPL – we have moved into our new location at 1000 Grosser Road in Gilbertsville and our spring sessions are in full swing. I wanted to share some healthy tips and news with you to help keep your fitness goals on track:

Group Classes at UPL

Here’s a quick glimpse into our spring schedule:

EARLY BIRD GROUP CLASS OFFERING
Wednesdays and Fridays
5:30 a.m. – 45 min. class
Through May 31
 

TRX Suspension Training
Tuesdays and Thursdays
10 a.m. – 45 min. class

Abs Class
Every Thursday in May
(5 classes for $40 or $12 drop-in rate)
6:15 p.m. – 40 min. class

PNF Stretching
Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation
Select Saturdays of every month or by appt. during the week
15 – 30 min. session ($1 per min.)

Eating Well – You can do it!

There’s more to looking and feeling great than just exercise! A healthy, balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, protein, and healthy carbs can make a positive impact on body, mind, and soul. Just because you want to eat better doesn’t mean you have to give up EVERYTHING you love.

Setting Fitness Goals – the SMART way…

For best results, set your sights on SMART goals. Success comes more readily when goals are specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and timely. Some examples of SMART goals related to your health and personal fitness may be loss of a certain number of pounds in a designated time frame or improvement in your mile times when running by a certain date.

You can also focus on consuming a certain number of daily calories to help you achieve your desired weight and fitness goals. Stay tuned to my Unique Physique Bodies blog for more helpful tips to get you closer to your goals!
